We keep you signed in with data stored in your browser (your Supabase session). Stripe, our payment processor, and Cloudflare, our bot check, may set security cookies to stop fraud and bots. These are always on; blocking them will stop you from staying signed in or paying.
Our Own Analytics
We run our own first-party analytics to understand how people find and use Sniffy: pages viewed, where a visit came from, device type and whether sign-up worked. It uses a random identifier stored in your browser, not cookies, never records your IP address, email or messages, and is switched off if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which don’t use cookies. None of this data is sold.
Advertising Pixels
On our website (never in the iPhone app) we use the TikTok pixel and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel to measure how well our ads work. They set their own cookies and send TikTok and Meta the pages you visit, the ad you came from, and events such as signing up or starting checkout, along with your browser, device and IP address. Choose “Essential only” in our cookie banner and they won’t load; a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser also keeps them off.
Managing Your Choice
You can change your choice anytime from “Cookie settings” at the bottom of our home page, or clear and block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage will stop you from staying signed in. See our Privacy Policy for everything we share and why.
